This is a colony based primary school which was actually founded by an inhabitant teacher named Late Narayan Chandra Pal on 01.11.1950. Then it was granted by the then School Board on 11.01.1987. The school is just at the centre of the colony with a big open play ground at the east. It is said that Halamaster (popular nickname of the founder)started the school first under a banyan tree with some little children of this locality and that tree still exists in the campous providing shade to the little students but the founder is not.
