History

Our School was established in 1921in the remote village of Batanal.India was then under British rule. Eminent educationist Dr.Bhupal Chandra Sarkar and Janab Abdul Wahab and other person interested in education came forward and lightened the light of education.School was recognised by Calcutta University in 1923.First Head Master was Ramapati Das.In 1947 first Independence day was celebrated in the school with enthusiasm.Many scientists, doctors, professors, teachers and many more frofessionals, businessmen have glorified this Institution.In the month of January this year we organised centenary celebrations.Last I can say we are bearing the tradition and culture of the Institution and our aim is to turn it into a model Alma mater.
