Hayatpur Ramkrishna High School is situated at the village Hayatpur under Khanakul Block-II on the bank of the river Mundeshwari which meets with river Rupnarayan. Hayatpur is on the last fringe of Hooghly district. Its nearest town is Jhikhira which is in Howrah district. This school has been named after Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Dev whose birth place Kamarpukur is 56.4 km from Hayatpur. Raja Rammohon Roy, a great social reformer and precursor of universal humanism was born at Radhanagar village which is only 18 km. from Hayatpur. Hayatpur is an agriculture-based village.
