Hazipur Union High School(H.S)

Hajipur Union High School was established in 1956.It is under the subdivision of Arambagh,Goghat 2 Block in the district of Hooghly.It is located on the outskirts of the village Datpur, Post office-Debkhanda, Police Station -Goghat,Hooghly,PIN 712614.This institution was granted provisional recognition as 2class junior High School on 1st January 1957 and then 4-class Junior High School 1st April 1959.After that this institution got recognition as a 10 class on 31st December 1973 and was permitted to continue co education from 01.01.1974.In 2013 Hazipur Union High School obtained recognition as Higher secondary and vocational stream was granted to continue in 2006.The school bears index number G3-041,HS Code- 117370 and vocational code-2565.Initially it was a mud building consisting of only eight rooms .The school started with only five teachers and 125 students but there is no trace of mud building.It has become a two storeyed building with adequate rooms.The enrollmentof the students at present is over 1000.Students feel here homely atmosphere.They participate enthusiastically in co-curricular activities.Not only that the worthy students of the school compete in Block level and even in district levels and they become successful .Each and every student maintains disciplines by wearing school uniform keeping law& order and punctuality.Presently the school is led by Government Sponsored.The results of both MP and HS are very good. people of this locality are really proud of having such a model School.
