History

Guptipara is an ancient prospering village in the northern end of district hooghly.This village is specially known for its role in spreading women education.In the year of 1951 Dr. Biswanath sen, a renowned doctor of this village established a girls school along with other educationist in this village.Primarily this school had no building to held classes on its own. The classes were beginning to held in the adjacent school building of Guptipara high School with the help of their teachers. The school started with only seven girls. Thereafter classes were also held in the residential building of Sens and Majumders.Later, respected Juran Kumar Sen of sen family donated a land in which the prtesent school building was constructed with the help of Dr. Biswanath Sen and others in 1960.

Since  then, this school has been playing a pivotal role in spreading women education in this village. Today its students established themselves all over India and aboroad.
