History

The original habitat of ancestors of Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee was in Digsui village in hooghly district. Later they wre shifted to jirat, Hooghly. Now, the existing school buildings and the surrounding area is the ancestral poperty of them .

In 1956, Shyamaprasad's wards and in 1955 Bamaprasad himself donate this poperty in favour of this educational institution . From 1959 this building has been using only as Ashutosh Smriti Mandir Balika Vidyalaya.
