GOPALPUR PRIMARY SCHOOL (BW – 58) is, as the name indicate an institution situated within the Gopalpur village , PO – Gopalpur, Dist – Hooghly. The school was estiblshed in the year of 1932, for the purpose of primary education of the children residing in the village of Gopalpur. The land for the school  was donated by Late Sombhunath Ghoshal for the purpose of providing preliminary education and moral Devlopment to the children. It is a Bengali medium under HDPSC and sponsored by GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.Established 1932, HT was Soyaram Ghosh. We have class I-IV from the beginning. Now we see many established parson who were Ex-Students of our school. It was a building made of bricks with shed of Tiles. Now it is a pukka building with roof. There is good sitting arrengement of students. It is an ideal Educational Institution.
