Welcome to Khalsi Sishutirtha Primary School (M-38) . 

Khalsi : Digsui : Hooghly

       On 2nd January 1952, Our country had only five years of Independence, the community of this village was waiting for an educational institution where learning become easier for the children of this remote village. Mrs. Panchubala Dasi donated 23 Satak land shade covered semi concrete room for the primary education of the childrens, in memory of her beloved husband Late Kunjabihari Mondal (Ghosh).

       Some education lover villagers namely Ganesh Ch. Mondal, Kapileshwar Chattapadhya, Tarapada Ghosh, Mahadev Ghosh, Ananta Ghosh, Dr. Bipin Bihari Ghosh, Brindaban Ghosh were tried their hard for recognised the school from District School Board. Mr. Purnachandra Bhattacharya who was well known to us as Purna Master was the founder volunteer teacher of this school.

       31st December 1961, was the memorable and remarkable day for the villagers when they achieved their dream ; Hooghly District Primary School Board recognised this Institution. The school which once start its journey with only fourteen students has spread its rainbow wings.

       Now we had overcome sixty years.In this Institution many students adds feathers to the wings of their dream.They are now established in their life.In co-operation with our Govt, non- Govt organizations and many former students this institution shine more brighter. They flourished this institution and every single day it assumed the new step of develpoment. In 2017, the school awarded "Nirmal Vidyalaya Puraskar."

       Students of this institutions are now learned with child psychology method by computer and projector. There is a small playground for the childrens where they learnt how to do free hand exercise and primitive Bangla games like 'Buri Basanta', Kumir Danga','Pittu'. Yoga classes are done once in a week for the better health of the students.In the Mid-day-meal students take fresh green vegetables form the school's kitchen-garden.The school has safe and purified drinking water system,water basin system and eco-friendly toilet blocks. There is an open class-room under the greenery environment. Everything is conducted with the child cabinet  for the necessity of the students.
