Anandanagar Brahmanpara Primary School is fondly known as "Bratachari School" for the cultivation of Bratachari Activities. Surrounded by the Green Vegetations. The School is not only the centre of learning but also a Playhouse to the Pupils in the surroundings. A long History lies behined the Establishment and Development of this School.
Then, it was 1962 the people of Anandanagar 'Purbapara' felt the necessity of a Primary School at bthe west bank of the river 'Kana'. Fortunately, some noble heart and keen educationists donated a plot of 16- Satak land just adjacent to 'Anandanagar Bratachari Sangha'. Those of the immortal persons are Lt. Dhananjay Jana and Lt. Panchanan Jana. Besides, the contribution and devotion of the villagers are unforgettable. They all started their work with lot of excitement. Within a month a mud house with tiles-shed containing two class rooms was errected.The School was started but due to the lack of space the office work was done in the house of Lt. Krishna Chandra Samanta, a Teacher in this village.
The School was going on smoothly. But, it was held up in 1970 due to a devastating flood. The School building collapsed.But, the villagers again built up the School. This time it was made of bricks with tiles-shed. In this context Estate Bhola Nath Das Trustee (Kolkata) and some kind hearted villagers should be remembered for financial assistance.The School developed bit by bit. Now, the locality gets a complete concrete building with all other facilities.
Among the Teachers Shri Mahananda Pal (Khosalpur)played the most remarkable role for establishing and developing the School.After his retirement Lt. Murari Mohon Misra (Anandanagar), Lt. Madan Bera (Anandanagar, Khalpara), Shri Mohan Guchhait (Radhanagar), Shri Prahlad Chatterjee (Singur) and Shri Jatindra Nath Porel (Natunbheri) adorned the Chair of Head Teacher respectively till October 2016.
Now, Arindam Dey (Chandannagar) has been fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of Teacher-in-Charge with effect from 01November2016.
