It is one of the oldest primary school in the district hooghly . It was established in the year of 1937 . At the begining there were two rooms with kachcha foundation . After a long run a concrete foundation was built . At present the school runs with class from PP to V .At that time there was no school nearby to the village . The little one had to go about more than 5KM to take education . Two wellwisher of that village realises the situation of the little one and donated the land to build a school  for the little one . On that day , it was too difficult to run a school with only two rooms and with a kachcha foundation . But, the endless effort of the teachers and guardians , the school started to run on its own way . In the rainy season , it was too difficult to make a seat arrangement for the students . Sometimes the classes were taken in the nearby guardians house . So there was an endless effort of all which turns the school a prestious one in the present situation .
