History

In the year 1949 ,along with some eminent important Personalities interested in education, late Kshirode Kumar Sasmal ,an eminent teacher founded the institution.He was a freedom fighter very close to some renowned persons like the then Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy ,Atulya Chandra Ghosh and Prafulla Sen. In ordre to educate the pupil around Birendranagar and its neighbouring villages Kshirode Babu had a dream to establish this School.His dream has been fulfilled when our School got its recognition as a X class Madhyamik School in the year 1973.It was a Co-educational School from the very beginning .MP result  every year has been satisfactory.Insfrastructure of the School has been developing.The future plan is there to upgrade this institution to a Higher Secondary School for the benefit of the local students.
