History

    Jarul Naresh Nandini Balika Vidyalaya is a Bengali Medium Secondary day school for girls'.It is located in a village named Jarul on Hooghly-Purba Bardhaman district border under Dhaniakhali Block.Local eminent doctor Late Ambika Charan Bandyopadhyay's wife Late Naresh Nandini Devi has established this school on 3rd January,1968 to promote Girls' education.Though,in the year 1967 first managing committee was formed.She set up a junior high school with the help of her sibling and some local educators and fonders.In 1969,Ninth class was introduced and as well as class ten in 1970.

   In 1971 students passed the secondary examination(First Batch from school) through nearest Maharampur Matilal Vidyamandir.Tenth class has been approved since 01.01.1973.Now,it's affiliated to the state secondary Board and also it's a govt.sponsored school.

   School has it's own school building,play ground.There is a multigym for students and with the help of ICT computer classes also conducted for all.
