History

Cheragram High School was established on 6th March of 1961 with the help and Co-operation of all the people of the village. Some dedicated local teachers like Monsur Ali Mondal, Bimal Chandra Ghosh, Nurul Islam was from the beginning of the school. The school was first recognised on 01.01.1962 as 2 class junior high school. On   01.01.1964 the school was converted into 4 class junior high school. The school was finally recognised as x class with effect from 23.05.2000.After that in 2002 the first batch was appeared in Board's Examination. At present this school is a government sponsored co-educational institution.
