A brief history of the school:

The school has its own history of progress with many ups and downs.This glorious institution happened to be the brain child of respected teacher Late Satkari Chattopadhyay and some enthusiastic lovers of education of the town.The school started its endeavour in a rented house at Chowmatha ,Chinsurah and then stood on its permanent footing permanently in a new shelter at Nonapukurdhar ,Dharampur in 1996.The institution achieved its first recognition as 2 class (v &vi) w.e.f 1st January,1965 and as 4 class junior high school (v to viii) w.e.f 1st January,1969.The school was permitted to introduce Co education w.e.f 01.05.2005 and finally upgraded to X (Ten) class high School in 2006(w.e.f 01.05.2005).It is a matter of pride that the result of Madhyamik Pariksha for last few years is quite satisfactory .Our students ,most of them being first generation learners ,take part in various cultural competitions and achieve considerable degree of success under the proper guidance of competent and dedicated   teachers.We eagerly hope that Our school will emerge as one of best schools in our town in near future.
