History

The School was first recognized as a senior Basic School vide DPI’s (W.B.) memo no. 994-SC/P and 4S-80P/62 Dated 22.02.1962.

The School was converted from Senior Basic School to Junior High School as per DPI’s memo no. 5095(370)SC/P(II) and 4S-26P/69 Dated 18.09.1969.

The school was upgraded as a Class-X High School from 01.01.1986 as per memo no. S/69 of W.B.B.S.E. Dated 08.01.1987.

The School received deficit grant since its recognition.
