
Bishahari Vidyamandir was established in 1973 as an organized school.
The school was ran by a committee which was formed by founder Sri Anil Krishna Adhikary, secretary Sri Paritosh Chatterjee and members Sri Gobindo Singha Ray and Smt Sabita Chatterjee.
Sri Sudhin Bhat, Sri Sambhu Mukherjee, Sri Ajay Banerjee, Sri Rabindranath Paul and Smt Ranjana Mukherjee joined the school as honorary teachers.
After Sri Sambhu Mukherjee left the school in the year 1974, Smt Runa Mukherjee (Adhikari) replaced him.
In 1980, the school got the government recognition and started its journey with Head Teacher Sri Sudhin Bhat and assistant teachers Sri Rabindranath Paul and Smt Runa Mukherjee (Adhikary).
