By the year 1969 our school was established for the local telugu community peoples. With the help of government and local bodies school got recognised by the Government of West Bengal in the year 1972. In the beginning school was started in a rented house in which school was conducted by then teachers in two sessions’ morning and day due to less accommodation. With the struggle of then teacher’s, telugu community peoples fulfilled their dream of having basic education in mother tongue and that too in their own locality was fulfilled. Later several attempts were made to have a land for the school construction. In that time Victoria Jute Mill donated us a land along with a tin house to continue school in their premises in the year 1998. That was a great moment for everyone as school had its own permanent place with better accommodation than the rented house.
Development is not to stop at one place it’s the path to achieve the best we can. This statement was best to describe our school’s growth as the development went to next level when teacher’s and local bodies planned for the construction of pakka building in the year 2000. Every teacher, everybody in telugu community and local bodies donated money with great enthusiasm to fulfil the dream of pakka building for then students and for the future generations. All the dreams of having a pakka building took years to get into reality in which the contribution of then teacher’s was remarkable. By the year 2006 the new building got inaugurated with a great support of everyone. Then building still now the shed to current generations and will remain the place of getting quality education.
The School is not only a building, it’s the place where generations gets their education. Our school kept its reputation and always at its best to develop jewels’ in education. Year after year it’s getting better in maintaining the education quality. Overall development is our main motto. History always reflects our struggle and the future will always reflect our success.
