History

The school was established in the year 1920.Recognition as 10 class High School Was attained in the year1957. In 1994 it got permission to start 10+2 . The school is now running with almost 1200 students from class v to xii. It is coeducational at H. S. level.Lab-based subjects like Physics, chemistry, biology, geography and computer application are taught at H. S. level. The laboratories are not Well-equipped due to lack of fund. The library is also in the same condition. There is no community Hall in the school. As a result we cannot convene meeting with all the Guardians at a time. A hundred years old school has been suffering from lack of science teacher s to teach science subjects at H. S. level. It has no apt playground. Still we perform several cultural, social and public awareness programs time to time.
