History

For the noble purpose of spreading education in the village Pratappur Damodar Jew High School (H.S) was setup in 1969. The school is situated at the heart of the village. It comes under Bankura Block-II, Narrah Gram Panchayet, Dist.- Bankura. The school was upgraded to class XII in 2015, It is a Bengali medium Govt. Sponsored School. It is a co-educational school that is duly affiliated by W.B.B.S.E and W.B.C.H.S.E under the Department of School Education, Govt. of  West Bengal.
