History

Jhantipahari P.K. Girls' High School was established in 1958, which is affiliated vide memo no. 12909/ Edn/ 9-P-400/ 58 dated 17.11.58 by West Bengal Education Department,recognised as Senior Basic School for girls with effect from 01.04.59, converted to Junior High School from 01.01.70 vide memo no. D.P.I. (W.B.) 5996(369)SC/ R/ 4S-26P-69 dated 12.11.69, upgraded to X class from 01.01.73 vide board memo no. 504/ G dated 24.11.74,upgraded to H.S.(+2) school with memo no. DS(A)SD/75/Recog/06 with effect from 01.07.2006 dated 21.06.2006.
