History

Bindna Gatikrishna sikshaniketan High School was first established in the year 1970 on a land donated by a local resident interested in education Mr. Gatikrishna Mandal just beside Bankura Purulia Ahallya Bai Road with the active co-operation of the local people. The school got its first recognition as a 2-class junior High School in the year 1971.Later it was recognised as a co-educational 4 class junior High School in the year 1984. the school got its recognition as a X class High School in 2005. Late Mr Abani Rakshit, Late Mr Biswanath Mandal and Late Mr Madan Mohan Patra were the three founder members of the school.
