History

Khanta kshuderdanga High school(H.S), was established in the year 1964 recognised by DPI as a senior basic school with the motto of basic education envisaged by Mahatma Gandhi,the father of nation.It was the dream child of veteran freedom fighter,social worker,educationaist and a great teacher of the locality Gobinda Prasad singha along with a band of patrons and workers of the local villages which were at that time in crisis an area of backwardness,poverty and deprivation that rocked the hearts of those stalwarts and led to think of education of the poor children disseminating social awareness and literacy.A very humble beginning with mud walls and tile-roof utilising local resources,the school is now a pucca building with the help of the Govt. of west bengal.Gradually the school has been recognised to offer secondary course under the westbengal board of secondary education and Higher secondary course under the west bengal council of higher secondary education  to the students.
