History

It was 1954 that Dighalgram High School started her humble journey to cater to the demand of few rural people that they wanted their children to be educated, as they felt that nothing is more important than education.

Some noble hearted  people of this remote village had donated a large chunk of land at the spot and then the entire village came forward to organise the school and their help in this regard is worth memorable. The school was accorded the govt. affiliation and was recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1964. Days rolled by. The school has grown both in stature and structure. Since the very time of her conception, the school has been helping our children for their all round development and from time to time, the school has produced a number of enlightened and resourceful human beings.
