History

The school is recognised as a X Class High School from 01.01.1941 by the Calcutta University and govt.aided from 1942-'43; and it comes under Salary Deficit Scheme w.e.f. 01.o5.1972.

    The school is upgraded as an Xi Class H.S. School from 01.01.1961 by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education vide Memo No.6286/u/dt.06.04.1961.

      The school is recognised as integrated +2 stage (Xi-Xii) H.S. Institution from 01.07.1977 by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education vide Memo No.5147/Recog. dt.28.09.1977.
