History

The Chakaltore Primary School was established in 1947 with Indpur Purulia Main Road on the west, Chakaltore Junior High School on the east, village houses and a pond on the north and a vast field on the south.

Chakaltore is a developed and large village, but there are also a number of families below the poverty line. The population is about one thousand five hundred. The school has five classrooms. The school is taught from class P.P. to class V. In the current year, the number of students is 127, and the number of teachers is 5 including the head teacher.
