History

Shyampur is a viilage laying on the  eastern side last boundary of  Indpur Block. The village is remarkably distingushed for it uneven lands, little framing, rough soil, bad roads, forested environment, other backward populatuion. Shyampur Primary School, an educational intitution that has always been revered as one of the prime centres of excellence for elementary education in Shyampur. is situated in the near of Laxmi Mandir over 14244.14 square feet campus.

Established in 1954. The school started it's journey with some handful of students in the dilapidated Mansa Mandir. The school continues today with the same initiative and commitment that has started to impart knowledge to the students coming from poor families of Shyampur.

Since the day of establishment, the school has pioneer to concept of ' School based educational system' in the village.
