History

Khirpai High School started functioning in 1951. It was approved as a secondary school in 1992 and as a higher secondary school in 2006.  The school started  its journey with 11 students and the total number of students in the current academic year(2020) is 1456.  It is a co-educational school.  The school is located in a remote area of ​​South Bankura,in a village named Khirpai.  Most of the students in the school are first generation learners and the parents are very poor.
