New Integrated government school, Joypur was established in the year 2016 is an English medium co educational state government run higher secondary school affiliated to WBBSE. It is situated in the district Bankura under sub-division Bishnupur. The school was built under BRGF(Backward Regions Grant Fund) scheme launched in the year 2007 with the aim of increasing infrastructural facilities in the backward regions and strengthening the development planning capacity of local institutions to reduce overall backwardness of the regions, reducing poverty and improve livelihood conditions in the areas.NIGS Joypur wants to bocome the pillar of success and the backbone of all the children residing in the area and its outskirts.
