History

It is a Government Sponsored school of West Bengal Government. In 1973, the education loving people of the village built the school building with soil and straw to arrange the education of their children. Some well-wisher donated land for school. That’s the beginning of the way. Since 01/05 /1996 the school gets government approval from the fifth to eighth class. Later the tenth class gets official approval and in 2008 the first students participated in the secondary examination arranged by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. That year 100 percent of the students passed the secondary examination. Later the people of the village donated land for the development of the students’ playground and the school’s own playground was built. With government funding, the school currently stands on a sturdy building where students have the opportunity to study in a quiet environment.
