History

Amid the amalgamation of serene nature and religious cultural heritage, a little village Charuipata situated in the immediate vicinity of the sacred land, Joyrambati, was breathing the urge to bloom in educational fulfillment; until the great heart respected Kalipada Singha Roy felt the urge within and took the initiative to set up 'CHARUIPATA VIDYASAGAR JR. HIGH SCHOOL' in the southern outskirts of the village in 1970. His noble intention got the proper elevation when a little mud house was built on the land donated by some great persons of the locality - Late Shantiram Panja, Anukul Ghosh and Nakul Chandra Nyay. Though little, it was enough to create the sensation among the villagers. After a long period of 36 years in 2006, the School got the recognition as 'CHARUIPATA VIDYASAGAR HIGH SCHOOL'. Respected persons of the locality named Late Saktipada Panja, Late Radhakinkar Panja, Late Bibhuti Panja along with the then staff of the school came forward providing land and money to concretize and enlarge the school building. The help from the governmental section is also worthy to be mentioned. The school is now well established and is gradually trying to be fully grown up.
