History

Dahala High School, situated in the eastern part of Khatra Block in the district of Bankura, came into being in 1960. The school was first recognisrtd as a 4-Class Junior High School with classes V to VIII in the year 1962. and was further upgraded to X-Class High School in1978. Since then the community around the school has been trying hard and contributing much for the upliftment of overall development of this educatioal centre. It has now flourished a lot. Still there is a crying need of a community hall for arranging any school proghramme scheduled from time to time. With sincere effort and co-operation of all concerned the institution is rteally coming forward to spread education among the coming generation around the school.
