History

Tiring S. A. High School is situated in a remote village in the district of Bankura. The locality in which the school is situated is inhabitated by poor people, a major portion of them belongs to the SC and ST community. With a dream to spread education amoung these under privileged sections of the society Lt Ganesh Ram Hembram (Mahanta) founded the school at Tiring. Some benevolent persons of the village donated land for setting up the school. Those, who donated land for the school were:

1) Banka Bihari Mandal, 2) Bhabatosh Mandal, 3) Surya Narayan Mandal, 4) Chandra Sekhar Mandal, 5) Golok Bihari Mandal, 6) Kritibas Mandal, 7) Paritosh Mandal, 8) Haripada Mandal, 9) Rampada Mandal, 10) Gunadhar Mandal, and 11) Prabhakar Mandal.
