The school was established in 1967 by a renowed primary teacher as well as an educationist - a name uttered with reverence Late- MADAN MOHAN MAJI. Though it is an S.C, S.T & O.B.C prone area and the success of those first generation learner is inspiring and luminous. The school was elevated in class VIII in 1971, class X in 1998, H.S Vocational in 2007, H.S Arts in 2016. The school is still brilliant in spreading their education. Our school draws attention to sports.
The school ground is conferred one of the suitable ground in our Bankura District for the players. The inter school state kabaddi in 2006 competition was held (for boys & girls) in this school campus. Moreover sports (in District level ) occured freequently in this school campus.
