HISTORY

The name of our school is Velaidiha Primary school. It is located near Hirbandh in Khatra West Circle in the district of Bankura got the Govt registration on 20 August 1980.

Since then it was located at the end of the village Velaidiha. There is an old building which was donated by Late Mohan Bauri and rest 17 Satak (10.285 katha) land was donated by Late Mahadev Pain and his brothers. It is a beautiful place by the road side.

At present we have 4 classrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 Mid-day-meal shed. 3 separate toilets and 2 separate toilet for CWSN. There is a big public play ground nearby our school. We have 51 students now with 2 teachers (1 Para teacher)

With deep regret I mention that the land of our school had been registered in 1980, still the mutation has not been yet done.
