History

 Telenda Purunia Primary School is stated to be one of the oldest schools in this area. It is situated in the village of Purunia under Mejia Circle.The school was established on 1st January in the year of 1949. It was the only school then of two villages - Telenda & Purunia. That's why the school was named after two villages. Earlier, the school was having  Pre primary to Class IV, and then Class V has been included in 2020. The school is active in education, sports, culture & other co-curricular activities. People of these villages love this school very much.
