History

Ambikanagar High School is a renowned co-educational institution situated in the Jangal Mahal area under Ranibandh Block of the Khatra Sub-division in Bankura district. The school started its journey as an M.E. School (with class I-VI) in the year 1920 and in 1949 it was upgraded to a secondary school. In 2001 the school got affiliated to the West Bengal Council of H.S. Education.
