
In order to spread education in rural area ,particulars among the poor and tribal people , Boddi High School was initially set up in 1958 at a small village named Boddi which was submerged under the water of Kumari and Kbngsabati water during the construction of Kangsabati Reserver Project at Mukutmanipur.Consequently the school was shifted at Rudra village though the name of the school remains unchange .Afterwards the school was stepwise upgraded in high as high schoool in 1971 and finally as h.s school in 2011. The school is new a bengali medium Government Sponsored High Secondery school with co-education and it is duly affiliated by WBBSE and WBCHSE under the Dept. of School Education , Govt. of West Bengal.
