History

Nepura Kumarara S.B. High School is situated in the Mandalkuli Gram Panchayet of raipur  Block in the district of Bankura .It was first established on the 1st january-1970 with the help of several learned and cultural people of the ability through cash,kinds and land. The school is first recognised as a 2- Class Jr. High School with co-education w,e,f 01.01.1971 by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) bearing Memo No.-621/Jr. Dt.-22/02/1972 and up-graded as 4- class Jr. High School w.e.f -01.05.1991 bearing Memo No.- S/376, Dt.-11/10/1991. Then after a lot of efforts,the school has been up-graded as a X- Class High School w.e.f- 01.05.2005 bearing Memo No.-S/Recog./2006/27, Dt.- 05.01.2006. The student-strength has increased within this period. The locality is predominated mainly by SC,ST,OBC and othe economically back-ward people.The school runs for imparting education to the locality.After this, the school has also been up-graded as a H.S. institution (Code No.-114255) by the West Bengal Council of Higher Education bearing Memo No.-DS(A)SD/0092/Recog./12,Dt.- 09.04.2012 with Co-education introducing general stream course in Arts & Science. The School is now a Govt. Spons. institution under the jurdiction of WBBSE,WBCHSE and Govt. of West Bengal. The School is lieable to provide education following the Govt. of West Bengal.
