History

Ichharia High School a center of learning from class v to x is situated in the district of Bankura under the control of D.I of Schools (S.E) Bankura & Sonamukhi circle. This Govt.Sponsored High School is founded by the local noble persons in the year 1970 (05.01.1970) with a view to spread education in the remote locality surrounded by forest and among the people who earn their livehood from hands to mouth . The School recognised as four class juniour high school W.E.F 30.03.2005 vide Boards Memo No.78/C(Law) Dated 01.04.2005 in compliance of the order dated 30.08.2004 passed by the Honble division bench High Court Kolkata in F.M.A.No 404of 2003 . The school upgraded and recognised as high school with effect from 01.05.2008. Now the hesitnt steps of the founders has become a gigantic steps in the field of education and to develop human resources.
