History

The school was established as a two class(V & VI) Jr. High school in 1965 with active initiative of three local educationist, Sk Abu Taher,Sourindra Narayan banerjee, and Dr. Kartick Ch. Roy.These three pioneers started with much hardship and the school was recognised as four-class Jr. High school in 1967 and also as a high school in 1969.The buiding were erected gradually with the help of local people and the government. Former H.M Sk Najrul haque(Retired 31st March 2019) developed the school with much hardship and the school was upgraded H.S status in 2006.A complete boundary was built and trees were planted for beautification. Now the school is running with 15 class units, good library for students,laboratories for science subjects and a three storied school attached hostel building and with near about one thousand five hundred students and 33 teaching and non teaching staff now.
