History

The school was established in 1961. The school was built through the efforts of some educationists in the village. The role of the late Umapada Chowdhury in the development of the school is undeniable. He was working as the headmaster of this school. Later, Kalidas Karmakar and Tapan Chatterjee were the headmasters of the school.
