History

The school was established in the year 1938 under the shade of big bannyan tree with 2 teachers and 10 students.1n the next year one cottage was made with the help of local people.In course of time number of students and teachers increased.On 30.12.1952 it was recognised as X clss high school by WBBSE .In 1965 it was upgraded to H.S with science stream.But the school lost its recognition of H.S after a few years due to dearth of students.again on 25.6.2007 it was upgraded to H.S with Arts stream.
