History

This school has established in 1958 by late Ram Kumar Roy a distinguished social worker specially interested in spread of education.This school stands on 2.64 acres of land bequeathed by some magnanimous persons of the village Harmasra namely Late Snehalata Devi and Sudhalata Devi. At first this school started as a 2 class junior high school in 1958. Subsequently it was upgraded to senior basic school; junior high school and to high school in 1959,1971 and 2006 respectively.
