First recognition granted verbally by the Governor of Bengal When he came to attend an invitation called by the local public for thanks giving for successfull implementation of irrigation project at Amjore-Radhanagar area, leaded by the district magistrate of Bankura Sir Gurusaday Dutta.

24.01.1924

Panchmura Middle School (Class III to VI standard) was established and started the journey at Mochhabtala. It's the Birthday of the Panchmura High School(H.S), the present institution.

15.05.1925

2 bighas land (Plot no.-494, J.L no.-104, where the NILBARI is located) donated & duly registered  in favour of the Panchmura Middle School by the Landlord Devprassana Mukhopadhyay  though he agreed to shift to built  up the School premises at plot no.-550, J.L No.-104, area- 12 bighas latermore. The School was constructed with 4 class rooms made by mud, clay & covered with straw.

15.08.1947

India wins Freedom & the total education related matters were under the dream project of the New India Govt.

01.01.1954

The School recognised as a Junior High School (Upto class VIII)

01.01.1957

The School got the X class recognition the W.B.B.S.E & upgraded as a Secondary School.

1958-1959

The School managing committee at that time purchased 74 bighas of land from local land owners just stone throw distance of the old school and beside the Taldangra-Bishnupur Road under J.L No.-107, Joypur Plot no.-1133,1134

14.01.1960

The foundation stone of New School building at new campus was established by Ranjit Ghosh, D.M, Bankura District.

1964

XI class was permitted by State Education Department in both Arts & Science stream

1965

The Panchmura Mahavidalya was established though the class works were continued in this school buliding till 1967

1965

Panchmura High School got permission U.E under Burdwan University both Science & Arts stream.

1999

The School is recognised by the W.B.C.H.S.E as a H.igher Secondary School in 10+2 pattern.
