History

NACHANKONDA HIGH SCHOOL formerly known as NACHANKONDA JR. HIGH SCHOOL was established in 2008 and the first Academic functioning of the School  started from the 2008-2009 Session. This School was set up in the midst of Village Nachankonda , P.O : Sabrakone , P. S. : Taldangra in the District of Bankura. It started its first Academic Session with the three Guest Teachers before the appointments of the present five permanent teachers and a Non-Teaching staff ( Group - D , Peon ). At that time , there was no Jr. High School around five kilometres and the local students had to go five kilometres to be admitted in a High School at Sabrakone. The villagers , educationists and local leaders had been trying to attract the attention of the Govt. for years to set up a Jr. High School in the locality for the benefits of the village students and the students from nearby locality. At last , The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education kindly paid heed to the appeals of the Mass and recognised the School as a Jr. High School to make the dreams of the villagers come true. During the Foundation , the School had no concrete buildings . However , in course of time the School has received financial help and support  from the corner of SARVA SIKSHA MISSION , BANKURA and the School has now six rooms including an Office Room , one kitchen shed for MDM and two sets of toilets separate for boys and girls . Of late ,  the School has been upgraded to a X - Class High School on and from 01/01/2018
