Situated in the ancient village of Ajodhya along the bank of the river Dwarakeshwar flowing to the north of Mallabhum, Bishnupur in the district of Bankura. Our school Ajodhya High School is a 47 years old institution is the oldest school in the district of Bankura. The education concious people of the Banerjee family who were once the Zamindars set-up this school. Thereafter crossing the various stages of gradual development,this school has been recognised at present as one of the most renowned centres of education and culture in the present society.
