After thirteen years of independence our 'BALARAMPUR LALIMOTI GIRLS' HS SCHOOL' set up. Respected teacher of Balarampur Phulchand High School Shri Mritunjay Pati and his nearest friend respected Kalicharan Sao requested Shri Chhedilal Sao(Father-in-law of Kalicharan Sao) to donate a land for girls' education. Shri Chhedilal Sao eagerly accepted the proposal and the school is named after his wife's name 'Lalimoti Sao'. But at that time it was difficult to find lady teacher. To solve the problem respected HM of Balarampur Phulchand High School Shri Amin Chandra Mahato, Assistant Headmaster Shri Bhuban Mohan Patra and Shri Mritunjay Pati came forward. Then respected Smt. Bela Sengupta had a great will power and got success to make the school as "a temple of learning for girls". Then Smt.Bijali Prava Pal took the charge of the school for one year. In 1979 respected Smt. Gouri Sengupta and in 1995 respected Smt. Jaya Dutta got the charge and has taken the school to the pinnacle of progress. In 2019 respected Mitali Bandyopadhyay has taken the responsibility of the institution and she is managing every situation very carefully and efficiently.
