History

Patharkata Jr. High School  was established in 2008 . The school is situated in an area where most people are  financially weaker and a good fraction of them is schedule caste ,schedule tribe, and other backward class(SC ,ST ,&OBC) .Enlighten their life with the light of knowledge it was decided to set up an upper primary school in the village of  Patharkata ,a remote village of Purulia. Initially there was no building to begin the class. So the class started in Patharkata Primary School . After construction of new building the school got its new life in the financial year 2009-2010. Many villagers  and educationist person heiped very much throughout its journey . We don't want to miss their extended helping  hand .We thank all  of them cordially .
