History

Narit Nyayaratna Institution is a State Government sponsored Higher Secondary school (Boys cum Co - ed) , situated in the heart of Narit ( birthplace of the poet Nabakrishna Bhattacharyya ) of Amta at Howrah, WB in a stone throwing distance from Narit Bus Stand, is reputed to be one of the oldest (135 yrs. ) and leading institution for education in rural area.  Stalwart educationist Mahamahopadhyaya Pandit Mahesh Chandra Nyayaratna  Bhattacharyya, an Indian scholar of Sanskrit and principle of Sanskrit college, in a  visionary and ahead- of- era  intention to impart modern education to the youngs started it as 'Secondary Anglo - Sanskrit School' ( 1885 ) that exists till date as Narit Nyayaratna Institution. This institution is  enthusiastic enough to its reputation .
