History

The village Mahishamuri is situated by the river Damodar. In the pre-establishment period of the school, almost every year the village Mahishamuri was flooded.The little boys and girls could not go to the school in the remote area. In the leadership of many distinguished persons like Aditya Kumar Maji of Mahishamuri and surrounding areas held a meeting for taking steps about higher education after primary education. Everybody who was present in that meeting was agreed for setting up a high school. The school was named after “Param Purush Sri Sri Ramkrishna”.
